Groovy is an agile dynamic language for the Java Platform. It runs on the JVM (Java Virtual Machine). It supports Domain-Specific Languages (DSLs). Last week, GParallelizer 0.7 release added exciting intuitive ways to handle tasks, actors and message. Great news for the Groovy community in order to go parallel.

I am researching about parallel programming, multiprocessor and multicore since 1997. My last research is a new Packt’s book, www.packtpub.com. I began programming with the legendary Texas TI-99/4A and Commodore 64 home computers in the early 80s. I have a Bachelor degree in Computer Science, graduated with honors, and an MBA (Master in Business Administration), graduated with an outstanding thesis. I have worked as developer, architect, and project manager for many companies in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I was project manager in one of the most important mortgage loan banks in Latin America for several years. Now, I am an independent IT consultant, and a freelance author. I am always researching about new technologies and writing about them.
